New Pokémon Cards Are Coming: Black Bolt and White Flare!
May 6, 2025 — Big news, Trainers! The Pokémon Company just announced a brand-new set of Pokémon cards coming this summer. It’s called Scarlet & Violet—Black Bolt and Scarlet & Violet—White Flare, and it will be in stores starting July 18, 2025!
What’s in the New Sets?
These new card sets are super special because they bring back all 156 Pokémon from the Unova region—that’s the region where Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott are from! You can find these Pokémon in cool new art styles called illustration rare and special illustration rare.
Each set also has its own Legendary Pokémon:
- Black Bolt features the awesome Zekrom
- White Flare stars the fiery Reshiram
Plus, some cards will have sparkly rainbow Poké Ball and Master Ball patterns, just like the older Black & White cards from years ago!
What Cool Cards Can You Get?
